Matador's sophomore album picks up from where their debut album left off. But this time guitars are brighter, drums are bigger and when the riffs go big, they 're massive! Intelligent build up and masterfully woven textures, of the kind offered by bands like Russian Circles and O Zorn!. And yet at times they seem to draw on a palette of melodies that ranges from Opeth to A Perfect Circle.
